Simon J. Larade 1950-2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Simon J. Larade at the palliative care unit of the Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Moncton, on March 20th, 2009, after a brave battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife, Louise Aucoin; his son Michel; his brothers Jules (Brenda) and Raymond (Belinda); his sisters, Judy LeBlanc (Bertie), Anne-Marie Croft (Rod) and Lucille Timmons (Roger); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family. Simon was a graduate of the Université de Moncton and St.F.X.U. He was employed with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) as Director, National Business Initiatives and Solutions Development. A memorial service will be held at l'Église St-Pierre in Chéticamp, Nova Scotia on Monday March 23rd at 2 pm. A reception at the Salle des retraités will follow. Special thanks to all the staff in the Oncology Centre and in the Palliative Care Unit at the Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Moncton.
