Joseph Ulysse Poirier 1938 - 2009 Moncton, NB - Ulysse Poirier, 70, passed away at his residence. Born in MacDougall Settlement on December 31st, 1938, he was the son of the late Adélard and Madelaine (Léger) Poirier. Ulysse is survived by one stepson, Skippy and one stepdaughter, Tracy Alexander, both of Virginia, USA; six brothers, Robert (Marie-Jeanne) of Moncton, René (Noëlla) of Notre-Dame, Guy (Anna) of Shediac, Lionel (Fernande) of Notre-Dame, Gérard (Rose) of Shediac River, Lawrence (late Stella) of Cocagne; four sisters, Rita Bourque (Henri) of Moncton, Thérèse Boland (late Harry) of Toronto, ON, Aline Boudreau (Paul) of Moncton, Bernadette Robichaud (late Gérard) of MacDougall; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Armand, Léandre and Rodolphe. Visitation will be at Passage Funeral Co-operative in Shediac Bridge on Sunday, March 22nd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 23rd at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent at 11 am. No visitation on Monday morning.
