Morris Howard Milton

Morris Howard Milton 1926 - 2009 Morris Howard Milton, 83, of Albert Mines passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Morris was born in Albert Mines on February 23rd, 1926 the son of the late Ross and Mary (Killam) Milton. He was a very talented carpenter who worked for Arrow Building Construction with W.M. Ward for several years and helped build many of the homes in Albert County. He was a member of the Albert Mines Baptist Church. Morris loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was known for telling stories and everyone that knew him could come up with at least one of his great tales. He had a great sense of humour and will always be remembered for his kind and caring ways, he will never be forgotten. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lillian; son, Robin Milton of Albert Mines; step- daughters, Brenda Rossiter of Albert Mines and Darlene Steeves of Ontario and by his step-son, Rodney Steeves of Weldon ; by his treasured grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin "Pete"Milton (Margie) of Hillsborough, Walter Milton of Albert Mines and Killam Milton (Hulda) of Albert Mines; seven sisters, Grace Wilson of Hillsborough, Kilmeny Johnson of California, Rosemary DiBiase of Connecticut, Inez Milton of Salisbury, Mabel Glenn (Carmen) of Chateauguay, Charlotte Currah (Jack) of Albert Mines and Moira McKinley of Albert Mines. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by step-son, Fenwick Steeves; great grandson, Scott Wilson; four brothers, David, Maynard, Uzzile and Gordon; three sisters, Freda Ayer, Frances Bagley and Violet 'Ruth" Milton. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment will be held in the Albert Mines Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
