
Alfred Vienneau
Alfred Vienneau 1938 - 2009 Alfred Vienneau, 70, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born November 7, 1938 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Lionel and Oniva (Allain) Vienneau. Very active in his community, he was as a member of the Cap-Pelé Lions Club, Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club, past parish council member of Ste-Therèse d'Avila Church, past member of the Cap-Pelé Saint John Ambulance, former Cap-Pelé Fire Chief with 25 years service, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 91, Cap-Pelé and member of other various organisations. He was the beloved husband of Vitaline (Cormier) Vienneau; the loving father of six children: Michel (Lucette) of Cap-Pelé, Denise LeBlanc (Emmanuel) of Salisbury, Ronald (Carol) of Moncton, Paul (Meryem), Janice Spence (Larry) and Denis (Donna) all of Cap-Pelé; pépère to ten grandchildren: Marc, Mathieu, Martin, Karine, Krystal, Sébastien, Danielle, Natacha, Brianna and Travis; dear brother of Adelard (Anne-Marie) of Saint-Maurice, and special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 11a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital or the Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
