Doris Harrison 1929 - 2009 It is with deep regret that the family of Dorice (Doris) Harrison announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the The Moncton Hospital at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Clayton C.R. Harrison. Born in Moncton on June 21, 1929, Dorice was the daughter of the late Épiphane and the late Elmire (Cormier) Belliveau. She is survived by her two sisters, Irène White and Yvonne Léger (late Roger) both of Moncton, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Normand, her three sisters, Généva Gauvin (late Albert), Lorette Bowness (Gilbert), Élise Belliveau (late Aldrice). A graduate of Hôtel Dieu School of Nursing (1946), McGill University (1966, 1967), Mount Allison University (1971), Université de Moncton (1981). She was a former teacher at the McMaster School of Nursing at The Moncton Hospital. Doris enjoyed travelling and most recently she visited Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii (Winter 2009). No visitation or flowers by personal request. A private memorial service for family and friends has been held. In Doris's memory, her family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the CNIB.
