Born in Moncton on March 25th, 1933, he was the beloved son of the late Frank and Victoria (nee Melanson) Boudreau. Paul began his life's work in the trades in 1948. He was instrumental in the formation of the Moncton Building Trades Council. He was a licensed steam fitter, plumber and gas fitter. He was also a 50+ year member of United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters, as well as a former union local 694 business manager. A wonderful mechanic, Paul could fix pretty much anything. His passions included music, his family, his trade, his cottage, fishing, storytelling and last but not least his motorcycles. In his 20s, Paul raced motorcycles in 2 categories, hill climbing and road racing, where he raced his Royal Enfield 700cc at both Scoudouc and Laconia racetracks. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Enid (nee MacDonald) and his children Terry (Beth), Chris (Lise) and Lisa (Terry). He will be missed by his grand children Cale, Michel, Zach and Jody and his siblings Jeannine, Violet, Allain, John, Donald, Nora, Aline, Eva, Francis and Anna. He is resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, April 13th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A reception for Paul's friends and family will be held in the Garden View reception room following the service. Private interment shall be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of NB. Paul always said "The first 100 years is the hardest; after that it's a piece of cake". Now he can eat his cake. See you next summer on the ice. Arrangements in care of Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, 506-852-3530. A book of condolences may be signed at www.fairhavenmemorial.ca.
