Raymond MacDonald 1933 - 2009 Miramichi - Raymond MacDonald, husband of the late Norma J. MacDonald, of the South Black River Road, Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday morning, April 17th, 2009, at the age of 75. Born in Little Branch on October 1st, 1933, he was the son of the late Margaret (MacDonald) Holman. He was a labourer and an adherent of St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge. He is survived by one step son, Kevin Ross, of Black River Bridge; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Norma J. Ross, in 1998; as well as one infant brother. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge, on Monday, April 20th, 2009, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
