B. Viola DeLancey 1934 - 2009 B. Viola "Vi" DeLancey, 75, wife of J. Arnold DeLancey of Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, April 17th, 2009. Born in Jordan Falls, NS, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marguerite (Williams) Winfield. A homemaker, Viola loved gardening, people and canvassing for various societies. She was an adherent of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church and in her earlier years was employed with the Royal Bank of Canada in Halifax and Moncton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, but most of all, she loved her Lord. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Arnold, Viola will be sadly missed by her son, Robert and his wife Cindy; three loving grandchildren, Jessica, Laura, Khalid; sisters, Ruby (Mrs. Edward Longard), Halifax, Alice Walker, Sackville, NS, Kathleen (Mrs. Doug MacDonald), Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Mary (Mrs. Walter Mouland), Sydney, Mildred, Sackville; brothers, Roy S. W. Winfield, Stephen Winfield, George (Jim). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, Mountain Road, Sunday, April 19th, 2009, 2:00 pm, Rev. Paul Pattison officiating. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
