Margaret B. Whiteley 1920 - 2009 Margaret B. Whiteley, 89, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Born in Gunningsville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Hopper) Steeves. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margaret enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Highfield Street United Baptist Church, a Dominion Life Member, member of the Grand Ligne Missionary Group, the Sunshine Bible Class and the "Young at Heart" group. Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years, James S. Whiteley; daughter, Edris MacDonald, North Carolina; sons, Steven (Irene), Riverview, John (Alice), Moncton, Lorne (Doris), Kuujjuaq, QC, Keith (Mary), Kitchener, ON; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; sister, Willa Sealy (Ronald), and brother, John Steeves (Jean), both of Moncton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Leutrelle. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
