Allan Wayne Lucci The death of Allan Wayne Lucci, 57, of Point de Bute, occurred suddenly at his home on Friday, May 1, 2009. Born in Port Elgin, Allan was a son of the late Joe and Olive (Moore) Lucci. Allan worked as a guard at the Dorchester Penitentiary for 28 years. He was a member of the Cumberland Car Club, an avid hunter, outdoorsman and card player, and loved wheeling and dealing for cars. A devoted father, he enjoyed spending time with his children. Allan will be sadly missed by his common-law wife of thirteen years, Naomi Lamb; three sons, Steven (Tracy) of North Bay, ON, Cory and Kris, both of Dorchester; his former wife, Murielle of Dorchester; step-daughter, Rhonda (Rickey Stevens) Lamb, of Amherst, NS; seven grandchildren; Sabrina, Brayden, Aleisha, Madison, Alexander, Nickolas and Amber; two brothers, Chris (Cecilia), of Amherst, NS and Joe (Sandra), of Baie Verte; one sister, Deborah (Eugene) Jardine, of Peggy's Cove, NS; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his daughter, Aleisha in 2005. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Baie Verte Cemetery.
