Wesley Edward Cook

Wesley Edward Cook 1918 - 2009 Wesley Edward Cook, 91, of Alma passed away unexpectedly on May 4th, 2009 at his residence. Wesley was born in Johnsons Mills, Westmorland Co., N.B. on March 29, 1918 the son of Bedford and Nettie (MacFadden) Cook. He worked as a carpenter superintendent for Richard & B A Ryan in Saint John before his retirement. After retiring he moved to Alma where he was a good friend and neighbor to all. He enjoyed camping and travelling in his campers all over Canada. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and also enjoyed building small boats. He loved to tease and will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his contagious laugh, he was a special person. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marjorie (Hoar) Cook; daughter, Lorraine Thomas (John) of Lincoln and by his treasured grandsons, Mark and Matthew. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Clifton and Cyril; two sisters, Anna and Ada. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday Evening from 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. For those who wish donations to the Bennett and Albert County Health Care Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
