Herbert F. Williston 1940 - 2009 Miramichi - Herbert Fenety Williston, husband of Rhona Williston, of Route 117, Bay du Vin, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, in Moncton, on Sunday, May 17, 209, at the age of 68. Born in Bay du Vin, on December 11, 1940, he was the son of the late Phineas and Gertrude (Carroll) Williston. He was a thirty-seven year retired employee of Canadian Liquid Air Ltd., in Moncton, retiring as account manager. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin and a former member of St. Philips Anglican Church, Moncton; a member of Branch # 6, Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton. Herb was a survivor of the Escuminac Fishing Disaster, in 1959. He is survived by his wife, the former Rhona Gulliver; one daughter, Beth Wynter (Andrew), of Moncton; two sons, Craig Williston (Monique), of Moncton and Harold Williston (Donnalee), of Lethbridge, AB; six grandchildren, Alexander, Olivia, Christopher, Megan, Alberta, Brooke; two sisters, Margaret Kingston, of Bay du Vin and Phyllis Carroll (Robert), of Bathurst; three brothers, Ian, Harry (Velma) and David (Catherine) Williston, all of Bay du Vin. He was predeceased by four brothers, John, Paul, Haley and Eric Williston. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 3 pm, conducted b y Rev. Richard Steeves, assisted by Father Kevin Borthwick and Capt. Rose Steeves. Interment will be in the church cemetery, Bay du Vin. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, St. Philips Anglican Church, Moncton, or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
