Orrie L. Blank 1917 - 2009 Orrie L. Blank, 92, of The Briarlea, Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, May 22, 2009. Born in Springhill Junction, NS, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Gertrude (Boutlier) Adams. Orrie was retired from the T. Eaton Company Ltd., member of Wesley Memorial United Church and the UCW. She enjoyed music, dancing, travelling, was an excellent cook, but first and foremost was spending quality time with her family and friends. Orrie will be sadly missed by her daughters, Pam Breau (Mike), Diane Geddes (Eldon), both of Moncton; sons, Bruce Read (Evelyn), Charlottetown and David Read (Peggy), Shediac Cape; stepsons, Rick Blank (Sandra), Barrie, ON, Rodney Blank, Calgary, AB, Robert Blank (Muriel), Riverview; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Fowler (Donald), Moncton, Margaret Hurley, Amherst, NS, Ruean Goodwin, Amherst, NS; brothers, Gerald Adams (Claudia) and Charles Adams (Grace), both of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, George V. Read (1968) and John G. Blank (1989); granddaughter, Suzanne Breau; brothers, Roy, Jack, Dan, Art, Douglas, Robert; sisters, Connie, Norma, Ruth and four-legged companion, "Jazzy". No visitation by personal request.
