Mary E. Scott Mary E. Scott, 83, of Irishtown, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, May 25, 2009. Born in Prosser Brook, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Steeves) Geldart. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She attended Gladeside Baptist Church and Sunny Brae Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, word search and jigsaw puzzles, country music, watching the television series "The Waltons" and spending time with her family and friends. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughters, Fay Coates, Moncton, Frances Scott, Jean Scott and Kathy Scott, all of Irishtown, Ethel Crawford, Moncton; son, Bill (Debbie), Gladeside; grandchildren, Bonnie, Angela (Robert), Tara (Anthony), Randi, Virginia, Rebecca; great grandchildren, Natasha, Brittany, Alyssa, Kara, Jenna, Benjamin, Vanessa, Emma, Matthew, Sophie, Alexander; sisters, Bertha MacKenzie (Douglas), Halifax, Leona Enman (Claude), Forrest, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Walton Scott (1999); sister, Muriel; brother, Ivan. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, Tuesday, 6 to 9 pm.
