Alma Cormier (Gill)
Alma Cormier (Gill) 1920 - 2009 Alma Cormier (Gill), 88, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday June 8th, 2009, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in St.-Louis-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thaddée and the late Marie (née: Richard) Johnson. She was a member of the Lakeburn C.W.L. and of the Notre-Dame-de- Lorette Parish. She is survived by four daughters: Anne-Marie VanEkeren of Kelowna, BC, Annette MacDonald (Garry) of Moncton, Doris Bond of Dieppe and Jeanne (Bob) Braun of Kitchener, ON; four sons: Norman (Rita), Paul (Gail), both of Coles Island, NB, Leo (Dale) of Moncton and Donnie of Kelowna, BC; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; one daughter, Diane; two sisters: Julie and Madelaine and also by one brother, Marcel. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Friday from 2 to 4pm. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday June 12th, 2009, at 4pm. Interment in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac or Oncology departments of the Moncton Hospital or Dr G.-L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
