Muriel Hughes 1926 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Muriel Hughes of Lakeville, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loving wife of 62 years of Patrick Hughes. Muriel passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2009 following a lengthy illness. Born in Albert, NB, September 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Greta (Horsman) Geldart. Besides her husband Patrick, Muriel is survived by a son, Lawrence (Arline) of Moncton, daughter, Beverly (Brian) Alcorn of Lakeville, two grandsons, Kenneth (Robin) Alcorn, David Alcorn and great granddaughter, Hannah. She is also survived by her brother Carl of Braeside, ON and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Muriel was predeceased by one brother, Gerald. In respect with Muriel's wishes, cremation followed by a family graveside service to be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Muriel's memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
