Hazel Maillet Hazel Maillet, 84, of Spencer's Memorial Home, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the residence following a lengthy illness. She was a retired employee at The Moncton Hospital, a former volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross, past ladies auxiliary member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6, and served as their second vice president. Born December 6, 1924 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Felix Landry and the late Eva Cassidy. Beloved wife of the late Romeo Maillet. Loving mother of Wayne (Peggy), Bryan, Brenda (David), and Krista. Dear nanny of Michelle, Julie, Lindsay, Shaunda, David, Sarah, Joseph, and Jessica. Sister of the late Roy Landry. At her request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, on Friday, June 26 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Hazel, a donation to K.E. Spencer's Nursing Home or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
