D. Elizabeth "Betty" Hetherington, widow Hetherington

HETHERINGTON, D. ELIZABETH "BETTY" (1917 - 2009) - The death of D. Elizabeth "Betty" Hetherington, widow of the late Carlton Hetherington, of Church Court Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Friday July 3rd, 2009. Born in Richibucto on July 15th, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Constance (Beers) Pine. Betty was a member of Trinity United Church in Shediac where she had been a church elder and a member of the United Church Women. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by her step-son Glenn Hetherington of Ottawa; her nieces Mary Snider (Dale) of River Glade, Margie Fife (Bob) of Saint John; her nephews Ron Pyne (Gisele) of Grand Falls, John Warman of Bass River Point, NB, George Warman (Francine) of Riverview and Chris Pyne (Dee Dee) of Saint John, "Aunt BB" or "Grandma Aunt Betty" is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews and several great grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Carl and her parents she was also predeceased by her sister Gladys Warman (Borden) and brother Ralph. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110), 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Monday, July 6th from 1 pm to 3 pm followed by the funeral service conducted by Rev. Aaron Billard which will be held on at 3 o'clock in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home. Interment will be in Richibucto Protestant Cemetery. Donations in Betty's memory made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
