COLBURN, RAYMOND L. - Raymond L. Colburn, 89, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Anna (Landry) Colburn. Raymond was retired from Douglas Aircraft, Toronto. He attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, was a member of Sunny Brae Legion Branch #54 and Life Member of the Air Force Veterans Club. Raymond will be sadly missed by his daughters, Marie Smith (John), Shirley Donovan (Gordon), Loretta Comfort, all of Moncton, Carol Croteau (Leo), Fenelon Falls, ON; son, Brian (Carmelle), Toronto, ON; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (Douthwright) Colburn (November 2006). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
