43, Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Martin Joseph MacNeil, on November 30, 2008 at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex at the age of 43. Born in Glace Bay, Martin was the son of Rod and Rita MacNeil. He was employed at Stream in Glace Bay. Martin's wishes were to pass away in the arms of his loving wife Tanya and was surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Knox United Church. Martin loved movies and computers. He was the seventh son of Rod and Rita MacNeil and the cherished son-in-law of Art and Lillian Driscoll. Martin is survived by his wife, Tanya; brothers, Johnny (Genie), of New York, Michael, Paul and Bernie, all of Glace Bay. Martin was predeceased by two brothers, Roddy and Jimmy. Visitation for the late Martin MacNeil will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, 849-7520. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 in the funeral home chapel, at 11 a.m. with Nancy Whitney officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
