PAIGE, SADIE CATHERINE - 90, of Riverview, New Brunswick passed away peacefully with her family by her side August 5, 2009 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, New Brunswick. Born in Watt Section, Sheet Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Hugh and Catherine (Cook) Kenney. Sadie is survived by son, Ernest "Ernie" Paige (Marlene), Markham, Ont.; daughter, Fay Sharion Terrio, Middleton, NS; brother, Basil Kenney, Halifax; sisters, Bertha Clayton, Halifax and Eda Westhaver (Roy), Halifax; grandchildren, Stephanie Paige (Al Green), Unionville, Ont., Shelley Cooper (James), Peterborough, Ont., Donald Terrio, Calgary, Alta; five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by husband Ernest Melvin Paige; siblings Lloyd Kenney, Hazel Oickle, Merile Kenney, Erna Foley, Gerald Kenney, and Elbridge Kenney. Visitation for Sadie will be held Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 2-4 and 6-9 pm in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie Street, Halifax, NS, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 2 pm. Interment following in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
