DONELLE, ROY - age 78, of Petit Cap, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Born February 25, 1931 in Shemogue, he was the step-son of the late Bernard and Celeste (Donelle) Sandell. Roy will be sadly missed by an adopted son Leo Donelle (Sylvie Richard) of Petit-Cap, Billy (Camilla) Richard of Shediac, who Roy raised as his son, as well as an adopted son Alban Donelle (Lorrie Patterson) of Petit-Cap; grandchildren Betty (Gary) Walton, Danny Fougere, Jeffrey Donelle, Naomi Richard, and Cassandra; 11 great grandchildren; half sister Bernice (Billy) LeBlanc and sister-in-law Jean Sandell, both of Petit-Cap, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a half brother Clement Sandell and his ex-wife Edmee (Richard) Donelle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin (538-2241). Visitation will take place at the Club d'Age d'Or, Shemogue, on Tuesday, August 11, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy RC Church, Shemogue, on Wednesday, August 12, at 11 AM, Father Emery Brien officiating.
