SNOWDON, CLARENCE - Clarence Snowdon, age 72, of Wood Point, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 13th, 2009. Born in Wood Point, he was a son of the late Melbourne and Verna (MacKinnon) Snowdon. Clarence worked in the woods as a young man, then with the Enterprise Fawcett Foundry for 35 years. Clarence is survived by a brother, Chelsea (Claudia) Snowdon, Wood Point; a sister, Margaret Steeves (Robert Ward), Sackville; several nieces. He was predeceased by brothers Chesley and Melbourne Jr. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300), where visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 17th, 2009 at 2 pm, Pastor Ryan Skaling officiating. Burial will follow in the Westcock Cemetery.
