Ontario E. Ann Nicholson (retired employee of Leisure Lanes, Oshawa; avid bingo player) died peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville, with her family at her side, on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in her 72nd year. Ann, loving wife of Charles Andor of Oshawa and predeceased by Neil Nicholson. Loving and proud mother of Robert Nicholson and his wife Patricia, Medicine Hat, Alta., and Kim Owen and her husband Bill, Newcastle. Grandma to Aeric, Joshua and Kevin Nicholson, Derek, Dylan and Kayla Owen. Daughter of the late Wilford and Tina Attwood (nee MacDonald). Sister to Audrey Blacklock and her husband Jim, Tommy Attwood and his wife Joan, Phyllis McLeod and her husband Donny and Allan Attwood and his wife Grace. Sister-in-law to George Nicholson (Lynn), Elsie MacLellan (Jim), Mary Penton (Larry), Janet MacCormack, Lorne Nicholson and the late Warren and Bill Nicholson. Survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle, Ont. (1-877-987-3964), Friday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m., with visiting for one hour prior to the service. Cremation.
