CORMIER, LAURIE ARMAND - 80, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, August 16, following a lengthy illness, at the Moncton Hospital with his beloved wife Dorothy at his side. He was born in Scoudouc on September 14, 1928 to the late Dennis and Dora (Melanson) Cormier. Laurie was a letter carrier with Canada Post in Willowdale, ON for more than 30 years before he retired in 1988. He was an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed walking. Survived and sadly missed by his wife of 53 years Dorothy (Gammon); brothers Alcide, Adelard (Clements) and Vincent (Florine) all of Moncton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a sister Bernadette Cormier. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 20th from the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with Rev.
