STRANGIS, ANNIE MAE - 1975 - 2009 The death of Annie Mae Strangis, wife of Mike, of Boundary Creek, NB occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 17th, 2009. Born in Moncton on May 29th 1975 she was the daughter of Patricia Read of Riverview and Gary Read of Turtle Creek. Annie had been employed with RBC prior to her illness and for many years she was a Customer Service Representative with AOL. Annie Mae had been very active with the Four H Club and had represented New Brunswick nationally on several occasions. She is survived by her soul mate and the love of her life, her husband Michael, her parents, brothers Billy (Julie) of Shediac, Tommy of Turtle Creek; sister Katie of Victoria BC; her grandmother Jean Stewart of Upper Coverdale; mother in law Flo Strangis; brothers in law Richard and Tony Strangis; her two special nieces Kayla and Alyssa Read. She was predeceased by her grandparents Reg and Violet Read and grandfather Tommy Stewart. The family would like to thank the nurses of the Oncology Department and 3400 for the loving care they gave Annie over the last 15 months as well as a special thank you to Dr. William Taylor, Dr. Shaikh and Dr. Dow. In keeping with Annie's wishes a private family service has been held at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma St Moncton, interment has taken place in Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in Annie's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
