MALCOLM S. PEACOCK
PEACOCK, MALCOLM S. - Malcolm S. Peacock of Hillsborough passed away Thursday, August 20th at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Amherst, NS, June 19th, 1944, he was the son of the late Herman and Kathleen (Stone) Peacock. Malcolm was stubborn and steadfast, quiet and proud of country and kin, with 28 years of loyal service to the 8th Canadian Hussars Princess Louise (Militia) obtaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. An electrician by trade, gifted with hands, a member of the IBEW until his retirement. He is survived by a son Tim (Fiona) of Gaspereau, NS; two daughters, Nancy LaForest (Gerry) of Riverview, Kathryn Morice (Darrel) of Sackville; six grandchildren: Rebecca and Justin, Emogen and Ethan, Abbey and William. By request there will be no visitation, the funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 22nd at 1:30 PM with Rev. Malcolm Berry officiating. The interment will take place at Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin. Donations to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family, The arrangements are entrusted to Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007). Most at home on the shores of the Northumberland Straight and the comforts of " the Caboose and Bunkcar" keeping a watchful eye over the new generation. He walked softly, but left a positive impression with all who knew him.
