FONTAINE, ALCIDE - (1937-2009) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Alcide Fontaine 72, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, in Moncton on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009. Born in Cap St. Louis he was the son of the late Jacques and Délima (Doucet) Fontaine. Alcide will be sadly missed by his wife, Denise (Martin) Fontaine; one son, Daniel Fontaine (Tina MacDonald) of Richibouctou-Village; two grand children, Jacques, Jolène; three sisters, Alice Richard (Paul) of Aldouane, Jeanne Vautour (Raymond) of St. Louis de Kent, Délima Duplessis (Elias) of Bouctouche; two brothers, Arcade (late Venolia) of Aldouane, Conrade (late Germaine) of Richibucto; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters, Emma, Elvina, Domine; three infant sisters, Marie, Domine, Saraphie; four brothers, Henri, Hubert, Jacques, Euclide; two infant brothers, Conrade and Amédé. Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Saturday from 9:00 am until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
