PAUL EDOUARD "POLLARD" CORMIER
CORMIER, PAUL EDOUARD "POLLARD" - 87, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital. Born April 10th, 1922 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard and Leona (Bourque) Cormier. Paul was employed at CN as a store man prior to his retirement and was a member of the Beauséjour Curling Club. Also Knight of Columbus Branch #1310. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing and watching hockey and baseball on TV. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marguerite (Biddington) Cormier; three loving daughters, Paulette Cormier, Margaret-Ann Green and Monique Murray (James), all of Moncton; one sister, Gilberte (late Louis), of Hartford, CT; four grandchildren, Michel and Gilles (Shelley) Arsenault, Chris (Amanda) and Tim (Jill) Murray; three great-granddaughters, Taylor, Teagan and Tahlia; as well as one nephew, Rick Cyr (Karen). He was predeceased by one grandson, Matthew. The family will receive condolences Sunday, August 30th from 7 to 9 pm at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, Dominion Street, Moncton, on Monday, August 31st at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
