WEST, DOROTHY M. - 1927-2009 - It is with sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. West, 81, loving wife, mother and grandmother, on Sunday, August 30th, 2009 at the Grass Home, Riverview. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helena (Cork) Kelly. Dorothy was a Registered Nursing Assistant, retired from the Moncton Hospital and attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. She took great joy in her nursing, travelling, sewing and she took great pride in her children and her grandchildren. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Charles; daughter, Sandra Quigg (Kevin), Quispamsis; sons, Daryl (Diane), Dartmouth, NS, David (Shelley), Grande Prairie, AB; grandchildren, Laura and Jeffrey Quigg; Erin and Sara West; Samuel and Reid West; five sisters and three brothers; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by brothers, Edmond, Vincent, Gerald, Clement; sisters, Evelyn, Ann and Patricia. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday September 2nd, 2009, 11:00 am. Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
