DALLAIRE, LAURA - 1936-2009 - Laura Dallaire, 72 of Grande-Digue and formerly of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent passed away at Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Monday, August 31st, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was married to Ovila Dallaire. Born in Notre-Dame on November 21st, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and the late Anna (Saulnier) Cormier. Laura worked as a vending machine operator for the Sickkids Hospital in Toronto for numerous years. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ovila; her six daughters, Annette Dallaire, Rita Trow (Richard), Denise O`Donald (Hughie), Claudette Dallaire all of Toronto, Pauline Dallaire of Calgary, Murielle Boucher (Louis) of Saint-Antoine; four sons, Donald of Grande-Digue, Paul of Toronto, Wayne of Calgary, and Gerry of Saint-Paul; five sisters, Viola Belliveau (Antoine), Gloria Delaney (Leonard), Annette Haché (Léo) all of Toronto, Ernestine Leblanc (Raymond) of Lakeburn, Rita Cormier of Mckees Mills; two brothers, Euclide (Paula) of Grand Ben, Ontario, Jean-Guy (Karen) of Calgary; one step-brother, Lionel Cormier of Belleville Ontario; thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Laura was predeceased by seven brothers, Clarence, Aubain, Vincent, Louis, Zephir, Ronald, Paul and one granddaughter Julie-Ann. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l`Èglise, Bouctouche from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, September 3rd from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2009 at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 11:00 am. Internment will be held in the parish cemetery.
