BARNHILL, GERTRUDE FLORENCE (ALLEN) - Sackville, N.B. - Gertrude Florence Barnhill, widow of Dr. Edward Barnhill, passed away Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Gertrude was the daughter of William M. and Mabel (Campbell) Allen of Bayfield, N.B. Gertrude was a dear mother, to Byron and Arnolda, Bruce and Sandra; a beloved grammy, to Owen and Maggie, Jennifer and Adam, Kimberley and Chris, Philip, Stephanie, Lisa; a loving great-grandmother, to Patrick, Christopher, Nicholas, Jessica, Kate and Emma-Grace. She was predeceased by her brothers, Montague, Floyd, Darrell, Thorald, Edison and Hector. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Gertrude's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside service for Gertrude's family and friends will be held at the Sackville Cemetery on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Bob Campbell officiating. Following the burial, all are invited to a reception at Campbell's Funeral Home.
