LEAMAN, VERA J. - Vera J. Leaman, 88, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, with her loving family by her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Edith (Fraser) Bishop. Vera was a kind and thoughtful woman and her family and friends will miss her. Vera will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jean Buchanan (Jim), Moncton; sons, Donald (Faye), Saint John, Gary (Joan), Ottawa, ON, David, Jasper, AB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Fowler (Jack); daughter-in-law, Doreen; sister-in-law, Violet; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald S. Leaman (2001); son, Alan; sister, Pearl and brother, Vernon. In honoring Vera's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Vera's memory to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
