Age 77 Christine Bagnell Rendall of Rockport, Mass., formerly of Louisbourg, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, Dec. 3, 2008, of pancreatic cancer. Chris was a member of the First Congregational Church of Hamilton where she volunteered for mission projects, attended Bible studies and maintained a strong group of friends. She was an active woman her entire life, enjoying swimming, tennis, skiing and gardening. Christine was born on April 26, 1931 in Louisbourg, N.S., a place she loved and returned to many times over the years. She leaves a brother, Joseph 'Dody' Bagnell and sister, Mabel (Bagnell) Hanham and a large extended family in the Louisburg area. Chris was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Bagnell, as well as her husband, Robert Rendall in July 2008, her brother, Weldon Wellington Bagnell and sister, Mary Florence Bagnell. She is survived by her son, Geoffrey Rendall, Gilmanton, N.H., his wife Nancy and their children, Tom, Ben and Kate; daughter, Trudy Ames, Williamstown, Mass., her husband Theodore (Tad) and their children, Luke and Carlos; son, John Rendall, his wife Karen and their children, Sam and Jacob, Wenham, Mass., and son, Mark Rendal, Hamilton, Mass.
