FISHER, DAVID - 1937 - 2009 - David L. Fisher of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 20, 2009. Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, son of the late Douglas and Mildred (Tracey) Fisher. David is survived by his son, Peter of Moncton; two brothers, Ron and Mark both of Fredericton; as well as his father-in-law, Elmer Pollock of Millstream. David liked Bluegrass music, The Toronto Maple Leafs and dogs. His passion was walking and fundraising for various charitable foundations. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Pollock) Fisher (1996). In respect with David's wishes there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 24 at 3:00 pm with Reverend Jonathan Steeper officiating. A reception will follow in The Garden View Reception Room. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The New Life Mission would be appreciated by the family.
