RICHARD, GABRIELLE - 1941-2009 - Gabrielle Richard, daughter of the late Auguste Richard and the late Eva Babin, passed away on September 18th, 2009 at the Maison Victor Gadbois in St-Mathieu de Beloeil. Gabrielle leaves to mourn her husband, Jean-Guy Miller; her sons, André (Josée), Mathieu (Catherine); her three grandchildren, Samuel, Alexandre, Victor; her sisters, Ginette (Fernand Robichaud), Muriel, Marcelle (Don Woods), Marie-Paule (Jean-Claude Johnson) and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. The family is grateful for the excellent and compassionate care provided by the service d'oncologie de l'hôpital Pierre Boucher, and the staff of the CLSC de Longueuil Ouest for the palliative homecare that was provided leading to the extraordinary care and caring provided by the personnel and volunteers of la Maison Victor Gadbois during her last two weeks of life. In accordance with Gabrielle's wishes there will be no viewing. All who wish to express their sympathies and celebrate who she was are invited to a funeral mass which will be held firstly, at the Cathedral in Longueuil on September 24th at 9:30 am and then in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB, her place of birth on September, 26th at 11:00 am.
