SAVOIE, ALICE NOBLE - It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Noble Savoie of Hardwicke NB, announce her passing at the age of 97 on September 22 2009. Born in Iles de la Madeleine PQ on September 11 1912, she was the daughter of the late Anathas Poirier and Albenie (Richard) (Poirier) Durelle. Left with the memory of her strong faith, warm smile and loving motherly ways, are her children, Robert (Molly) Noble, Wayne Noble, Kevin (Christa) Noble, Keith Noble, and one surviving daughter Lorna (Lloyd) Savoy, step son Daryl Savoie and sister Doris Bourque. She is survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband of 54 years, John Noble, father of her seven children, and also her second husband Leandre Savioe. She was also predeceased by daughters Edna (Lloyd) Jimmo and Marguarite Richard, son in laws, Allie Lloyd, Ira Jimmo and Ephrem Richard, siblings Bruno Poirier, Dell Hansen, Delia O'Neil, Rosemae Smith and half brother Anathas Durelle. Mrs. Alice Noble Savoie is resting at the Baie Sainte Anne Slumberoom on Thursday, September 24th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday, September 25th from 3 pm till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 25th at 5 pm from St Anne Church in Baie Sainte Anne, NB. Interment will be in The Hardwicke Cemetery.
