CORMIER, SISTER BERNICE - Sister Bernice (Sr. Marie-Paulette), age 74 of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away on Thursday September 24, 2009 at the convent where she resided following a short illness. Born September 22, 1935 in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Clétus and Exelda (Arsenault) Cormier. Besides her religious family, she is survived by six brothers, Omer (Noëlla), Laurie (Mae), Euclide, Léo-Paul (Yvonne), Alcide (Bernice) and Roméo (Helen) as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Normand and Valéry. Resting Sunday September 27 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Monday prior to the funeral mass at Pavillon Notre-Dame-d'Acadie of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Street entrance) from where the funeral mass will be held Monday September 28 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
