(Lyons) Of Avondale. It is with great sadness we acknowledge the peaceful passing in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, Marguerite M. (Lyons) Kennedy of Avondale, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband Daniel (2000) and two sons: George (1977) and Gerald (1952), also her parents: George and Annie Mary (Devereaux) Lyons and brothers: Allan, Daniel, James and Michael. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Danny (Rita), Pat (Clarence), Terry (Patsy), Jackie Kennedy and daughter-in-law Ardyth; her nine precious grandchildren: Kim (Robin), Craig, Nicole, Denise (Brian), Darrell, Ian, Colin, Jerry and Christopher and two great-grandchildren: Lauren and Patrick. Also left to mourn are her sisters: Mary Hicks, Katherine Kennedy, Ann Hicks, Anita Zoskey (Bob) and Joan Gibbons (Pat) along with numerous relatives and friends, especially her home care workers: Teresa Grace, Madonna Cole and Marie Cole, and her special pet "Cuddles", the cat. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday and Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at Assumption Church, Avondale at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
