MARY ANN ROZE
ROZE, MARY ANN - It is with much love and great respect that we say good-bye to our mother, grandmother, wife and friend. Mary Ann Roze (Tootsie Muise), of Yarmouth County, NS, passed away peacefully at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Born in Yarmouth on February 10, 1943, she is survived by her husband, Garnet; daughter, Joann, Riverview, NB; son, Craig; brothers, Ken Muise and Bobby Muise; granddaughter, Haven; and was predeceased by her parents Simon Muise and Frances (Moulaison) Muise, and a sister, Shirley Muise. She was an active member of the Yarmouth Garden Club and the Red Hatters Society. She previously resided in Riverview, NB, with her husband and children before returning to Yarmouth with her husband to retire in 2000. In 1975, after her daughter was seriously injured in a car-pedestrian accident, Mary Ann lobbied for, and became, Riverview's first cross-walk guard. In the 1980's, she studied Paranormal Sciences at Atlantic University in Virginia which ended up being a big turning point in her life. For over 20 years she worked with doctors, lawyers, priests, law enforcement and clients from all over the world as a respected and well-known clairvoyant. She spent many wonderful summers with her husband and granddaughter at her camp in Pinkney's Point. There, she loved beach combing, walking the trails, and just being with nature. Aside from loving the great outdoors, she also had a great love for animals. Her cat, Ben, was a constant companion and never left her side. Although gifted in so many areas, her true gift was that of being the best wife, mother and grandmother one could ever wish for. Her love was unconditional; her devotion never-ending. Her spirit and memory will live on in our hearts forever. Until we see each other again, you will be sadly missed and forever cherished. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where the family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 Sunday evening. A service of remembrance will be held at 8 p.m., Monday, October 5 from Huskilson's Memorial Chapel, led by Iris Muise, where a reception will follow. Cremation will then take place, and interment will take place at a later date in Moncton. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yarmouth SPCA. You may leave messages of condolence or sign the on-line guestbook by visiting www.huskilson.net
