JASPER H. CAIL

CAIL, JASPER H. - The death of Jasper H. Cail of Hampton, husband of the late Juanita A. Cail (Walsh) occurred October 4, 2009 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. He was born in Pine Ridge, Kent County, son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Jackson) Cail. Jasper was employed with General Motors in St. Catharines, ON, for over thirty years before retiring to Hampton in 1980. He was an avid card player. He was a member of Hampton Branch 28, Royal Canadian Legion and The Corinthian Lodge 313, F. & A.M. He is survived by one sister, Doris Morton, Rexton; grandson, Brent Walsh (Jacqueline), Rothesay, two granddaughters, Tricia Jameson (Kerry), Ruidoso, New Mexico, Kristen Walsh (Mike Chotka), Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Connor and Regan; stepson, Royden Walsh (Rose-Anne), Winnipeg; several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Isabel Coon and Rowena Budd. Jasper was predeceased by step-son, Ronald Walsh; three sisters, Adelia, Blanche, Bertha and three brothers, Lewis, Morton and Joseph. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton with visiting from 4 to 9 pm Thursday. A Legion tribute will be held Thursday, 6:45 pm and a Masonic tribute will be held at 7:15 pm at the funeral home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton with Rev. Leo Martin officiating. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society, SJRH Neo Natal Unit or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.reidsfh.com
