CHRISTINA LEBLANC
LEBLANC, CHRISTINA - It is with great sadness that the family announce Christina's passing on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Christina was the loving wife of the late Alvery "Tipper" LeBlanc formerly of Heritage Court, and recently of Manoir Notre-Dame in Moncton. Born May 19, 1925 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Antoine Belliveau and the late Anna Doiron and her stepmother the late Marie Doiron. Prior to her illness, Christina worked at MacArthur's Flower Shop, Moncton and was a member of the club d'âge d'or du Christ Roi. Christina was devoted to her family and friends and was a kind and giving woman. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Annette LeBlanc-Dupuis (Bernard) and Simone Richard (Danny) both of Dieppe; five sons, Paul (Sandra) of Dieppe, Bob "Tipper" (Francine), Charles and Denis (Claire) all of Moncton, Jacques (Anise) of Montréal, QC; two sisters, Anne-Alice Richard (Edgar) of Moncton and Jeanne Belliveau (Roger Brodeur) of Grand-Barachois; three brothers, Henri Belliveau (Maria), Léopold Belliveau (Jeannine) and Albert Belliveau (Sheryl) all of Moncton; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her husband Alvery "Tipper", she is also predeceased by three sisters, Thérèse, Anna, Corinne and by two brothers, Edmond and Clorice "Kite" Belliveau. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900) on Monday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. No visiting hours prior to funeral mass. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Christ Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Pam Mansfield, the nursing staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital.
