POISSONNIER, VINCENT C. - 58, of Shediac passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born September 21, 1951 in La Serre, ON, he was the son of Simone Vandeputte and the late Charles Poissonnier. Vincent was a former Sergeant with the R.C.M.P. He worked with the Insurance Crime Prevention Bureau and most recently with Corporate Security, J. D. Irving. Besides his mother, he leaves to mourn his wife of 36 years, Ann Marie (Galliah) Poissonnier; four sisters, Sabine Poissonnier of St. Polycarpe, QC, Catherine Poissonnier of St. Hyacinthe, QC, Élizabeth Poissonnier of Winnipeg, Sophie Poissonnier of Doeleil, QC; two brothers, Dominique Poissonnier of Québec and Thierry Poissonnier of Terrebonne, QC and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his father, he is also predeceased by his son Shawn (2006). Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 p.m. only. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral. The funeral mass will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
