ROBERTSON, ROBERT "BOB" I. - 70, of Ammon, passed away suddenly in Main River on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Born in Main River, he was the son of the late William and Georgie (Ells) Robertson. Bob was a former truck driver for H. E. Fisher Ltd. and Atlantic Wholesalers with over 26 years service. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, a former elder and former choir member and served his church in various other capacities in past years. Bob was a former beekeeper and was a member of the Memramcook ATV Club. Besides four-wheeling, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, spending time at the family homestead in Main River and quality time with his friends and family. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of over 50 years, Joan (Barnes); children, Donnie (Marlene), Joey (Debbie), both of Moncton, Angela Geddes (Terry) Scotch Settlement; grandchildren, Natalie, Joel, Kelsey, Kayla, Sarah, Matthew, Carissa, Lacey; great grandchildren, Seth, Grayson, Autumn; sisters, Jean Cail, Main River, Lois Spurr (Bernie), Moncton, Norma Englehart (Boyd), Main River; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Park St., Sunday, October 18, 2009, 1:00 pm, Rev. Dr. Martin Kreplin officiating. Reception following the service.
