CHASE, TERRANCE "TED" A. - Terrance "Ted" A. Chase, 75, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Harold and Bessie (Richardson) Chase. Ted was a retired manager for Deware's Supermarket (49 years service); he was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church, former member of the Board of Management and former church usher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an excellent gardener, former beehive operator and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ted will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Lila (Duffy) Chase; daughter, Linda Powers (John), Riverview; son, Terry, Moncton; grandson, Matthew; brother, Jim (Rita), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, predeceased by one brother, Victor. In keeping with Ted's wishes, no visitation by personal request. Funeral Service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday October 21, 2009, 11:00am. Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Fisherhill Cemetery.
