ROBICHAUD, VIRGINIA ROWENA - Virginia Rowena Robichaud, age 88, of Sackville, formerly of Dorchester passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 19, 2009. Born in Grand Falls, NB, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Velma (Moran) Baker. She was a member of St. Edward's Church, Dorchester, and St. Vincent's Church, Sackville. Virginia will be sadly missed by her son, Edward (Simone), of Ottawa; daughters, Janet (Bernard) Landry, of Rexton, NB, and Susan Robichaud of Sackville; son-in-law, Alfred Melanson, Sackville; three grandchildren, Tracy (Louis) Landry, Trevor (Moira) Landry, and Tara (Lauren Bailey) Landry; three great grandchildren, Julien, Abigail, Bethany; three step-grandchildren, Brenda, Stephen and Sandra; five step great grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas, Bradley, Brendan and Connor; three step great great grandchildren, Madeline, Makala and Mylah; sisters, Rita Adams, New Denmark, Aelaide Henderson and Glenna Mountain both of Riverview, Marilyn Thier, Syracuse, NY, Jacqueline Baker, Toronto. Married 45 years, she was predeceased by Ulysse Robichaud in 1992; daughter, Linda Melanson (2007); brother, Lawrence, and sisters, Phyllis Baker and Margaret Kelly. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 11 am, Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Edward's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dorchester.
