BANNISTER, ARNOLD THISTLE - 92, of the Jordan Lifecare Centre, and formerly of Prosser Brook, passed away at home on October 23, 2009. Born in Prosser Brook, he was a son of the late John "Coonie" and Carrie Mae (Prosser) Bannister. Arnold was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife, Eva (Weir) Bannister; his son, Gordon Bannister, Prosser Brook. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-8 pm; the funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 PM, all in Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac with Rev. Michael Ross presiding. Interment will be held in the Hillside Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated.
