STEEVES, ANN P. - 1938-2009 - Ann P. Steeves, 71, of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital with her family by her side. Ann was born in Riverside, N.B. on Aril 27th, 1938 the daughter of the late Everett and Laura (Steeves) Carr. Ann lived in Ontario for a while and worked in a chocolate factory. She moved back to the area and worked in a special care home where she cared for many of the residents. Ann was a Jehovah Witness. When Ann was able she loved to cook and bake, she was the foundation of the family gatherings. Her family was very important to her. In her later years she enjoyed reading, sitting in her rocker and watching out the window at all the birds and animals running around. She had a special place in her heart for animals especially for her cats and dogs. She was a special lady who will live on in the hearts of her family forever. She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Lillian Osmond of Hopewell Hill, Shirley Pettipas (Greg) of Pictou, NS; two sons, Ernest Perry (Laureen) of Moncton, Scott Perry of Weldon; grandchildren, Laura, Everett, Curtis, Christopher (Leanne); great grandson, Dylan and by her sister, Alice Carr of Toronto. She will also be missed by all of Clinton's family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Clinton Steeves and sister, Bessie Carr. Honoring Ann's own wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 2:00pm with Shane Potter officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, N.B. For those who wish donations made in memory of Ann to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
