GROVES, IDA FLORENCE - Florence Groves of the Spencer Memorial Home passed away peacefully on November 12, 2009 at the age of 95. Born in Bonavista, NF on November 7, 1914, she was the youngest daughter of Heber and Annie (Swyers) Templeman. She was a member of the Memorial United Church in Bonavista, NF. She was a hard worker in her younger years and you could always find her working in her gardens or picking berries or just out for a nice long walk. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Groves, her two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hicks (Charlie) and Mrs. Frances Moir (Harry). She is survived by her only son Barrie (Cathy Powers) and her only nephew, Lloyd Hicks of St. Johns, NF. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation.
