ASTARACHE, ANNA - 1916 - 2009 Anna Bastarache, 93 of Saint-Maurice de Kent, has passed away at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday November 10th, 2009 after a brief illness. Married to the late Simon Bastarache (1985), she was born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on January 10th, 1916 to the late Frederick and the late Elise (Léger) LeBlanc. She leaves to mourn her four children, Annette LeBlanc of Las Vagas, Jeannine Landry (Normand), Dale both of Meriden, Conn., Léo-Paul (Ethel) of Waltham, Mass., five grandchildren, Lisa, Tina, Nancy, Dennis, Darren, two great grandchildren, Sarah, Meghan, five sisters, Irène Cormier, Imelda Cormier, Cécile Bastarache all of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Aline Cormier of Bouctouche, Jeanne Bastarache of Saint-Maurice de Kent, two brothers, Ulysse (Stella) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Normand (Iona) of Saint-Paul, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edgar and Eric. Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Sunday November 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Monday November 16th, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
